Default Lowering my Vx Berlina with LPG - What exactly do I need?

Hey guys, sorry if its been said before. Had a look around and couldnt really find a clear answer so yeah. Basically Im about to lower my 2001 Vx Berlina with Dual Fuel LPG fitted. Im just wondering exactly what I need. I was going to buy just super low King springs for front and rear but then was told that I'd need lowered shocks and struts. Was thinking I'd just buy this VX COMMODORE SUPER LOW KING SPRINGS & MONROE GT SHOCKS | eBay. However doing some reading, it looks like I might need a camber Kit as well? What exactly do I need to lower it and still get normal wear out of my tyres and all that. Cheers guys

you can just put sl;s in but you may suffer bad camber, to fix the camber you should put in a vx II or VY IRS diff cradle and that will give little to no camber

hmm a camber kit will help with camber wear but wont fix the problem, either way if you lower your car, your going to have a camber issue, superlows arent to bad with a 4 point camber kit and i had the same setup (same shocks/springs) and i still got a decent run out of my tyres.

and you dont "need" shortened shocks but your car will handle alot better with them and be a more comfy ride.

As Dan and Jonesy have said above.^^

The VT-VXI suffered from serious camber issues at a stock height due to the design of the rear end. The VXII onwards used a revised rear cradle which, as mentioned, rectified the excessive wear from camber. A camber kit will help to an extent, but you will always suffer camber wear with a lowered IRS-fitted Commodore. Don't bother with a 2 point kit, a 4 point kit from a reputable company will benefit you a lot more. What size rims and tyres are you running?

SL is about as low as you can go without needing to change the shocks and struts, before it starts to get dangerous. Although, for a better ride and improved handling, new shortened shocks and struts are recommended. Even new stock height shocks will wear out prematurely with lowered springs.

Finally, with an LPG tank and the fluctuations of the fuel level (especially if you're worried about being too low) stick to a King spring. I've found them to be a heavier duty spring, so the ride is a tiny bit bumpier, but they don't sag as much under load as say Pedders or Lovells.

Done a bit of research, having LPG myself and wanting to lower it, so thats my 2c.
