    Default Mounting Driving Lights

I recently bought one of those driving light holders that mount to the bumper behind the number plate.

But when I look at the number plate mounting, it simply screws to the plastic bumper. This does not look strong enough to hold the driving lights.

Has anyone else used this type of driving light mount? How have you secured the bracket to the bumper so it is strong enough?

    You mean like this?

I had one on this EL Falcon once, moved it over to a Kia. Just held it on with the original license plate screws, it was fine on both cars. If you are really worried, you can just use slight thicker screws with coarser threads for extra grip. If you want to go the whole hog, I guess nuts and bolts are the best solution, but I certainly didnt need to.

Just so you know mate, none of your pictures seem to be loading. For me or anyone on any thread.

As for driving lights, the bars are strong enough, provided get some decent nuts and bolts, they won't go anywhere.
