    Default fitting ls1 extractors help

hi, have just got some 4-1 extractors and high flow cats, i have installed the pass side which took me ages and plenty of bad language! i had to remove power steering pump and res, air box, coolant tank, coil packs. so just wondering what i have to remove to fit the drivers side? do i install from underneath?

WTF??? sounds like your doing it the hard way, come up from under the car. Only thing i had to do was drop the driver side of the power steering rack.

You will need to undo the two bolts holding the rack in, and the bolt on the coupling holding the shaft to the rack. Move the coupling over onto the chassis rail. Pull the rack off the mounts and turn the shaft so that the rack moves to the right as far as possible. Remove the brace on the chassis rail as well. The header will slide up from the bottom.

You obviously got the cats the right way around? They look like they can go on either way, but if they are the wrong way around, the system won't line up with the flanges. They should have been marked left and right anyway.

umm, the four bolts bolt onto extractors and the two bolt holes bolt onto cat back exhaust. are both cats the same or is one for pass side and one for drivers side?

ok thanks naaf your a champ, there wasnt any stickers on the cats but there was a few engraved numberson one side so i swapped them around so numbers were toward the ground instead of being toward bottom of car and they fit perfect! no more leaks.

No worries. Unusual that they weren't marked left and right though.
