I have a VT Berlina II with the v6 motor.
1. Is there a way to have the climate control permanently display the outside temperature - and also display the inside temperature/climate control settings at the same time? Hope that makes sense :/
2. My rocker cover gaskets are leaking. How much would these normally cost and would most repco type places stock them.
3. My Commodore is bog stock. I'm looking at putting a Mace 12mm Plenum, 25mm Intake Insulator and Memcal. I don't plan on doing much more than that as I have a young son, so I don't want any exhaust systems or anything (the standard exhaust is nice and quiet, perfect for my 8 month old). I'm not really after outright top-end power, but would like some more low-end torque and hopefully an improvement in fuel economy. I get good economy now, 11-12L/100km highway/city.
How much more grunt will I have down low? Will I gain much up to and if so, how much? Will the combination of these three mods improve my fuel economy at all - or am I at a risk of going the other way. I do some long trips with towing (fuel economy goes up to around 17-18L/100km), hence my interest in gaining some low end torque but not if my fuel economy is going to go bazerk!
Car is recently serviced (New plugs & leads, engine oil+filter, fuel filter, air filter. Cleaned MAF/TB/IAC/Intake Temp Sensor. New Oxy Sensors).
Thanks for your help
Edit: Oh - and I always try to use BP Ultimate 98 when available.
One other thing. After I replaced the Oxy Sensors I disconnected the battery for a while. When I got back in, she had heaps more power and would spin the wheels at will. Now that I've been driving it for a few weeks, it won't do it anymore. The car runs fine, this just seems strange.

Answer to #2- about 20-30$ and they are very easy to replace, and most repco, supercheap and autobahn should have them.
hope others can help with your other questions.
Dan.
Thanks Dan!

Does anybody know?

I found 1.9 rockers give good mid range power increase and improves economy providing you drive with a light foot. Haven't tries the insulators though
