next service

hi there just a question to ask,,,,,,
i have a vx accclaim and when i start the car it comes up on dash next service,,,130000,my cars done 138000
i dont have a owners manual ive just recently purchased the car,,,just wondering if ya could change the reading through the mode button?
can it be changed and also if it can ,,,when it hits the time for next service will it light up or beep?

Can you change it with the mode, no. Mines at 454,000km and it still reminds me every 10k :/

To disable it follow this procedure:

Re-setting Service Reminder Light VT and VX
1. Ignition switch OFF.
2. Hold down the trip computer “UP” and “DOWN”,
arrow buttons that control the vehicle information
screen.
3. Turn the ignition ON while holding the 2 switches
down.
4. After about 3 seconds release both buttons.
5. Press and release the MODE switch, the “Service
reminder s” hould appear on the instrument cluster.
6. Press and hold both the trip computer “UP” and
“DOWN”, arrow buttons until a BEEP is heard
(about 3 seconds)
7. Release both buttons and turn the ignition OFF.

All done!

This will stop the reminder for now, however at 140,000km it will remind you again, at which point - repeat the above steps.

it will tell you everything 10thousand K's that it needs it service, so service it as you please and turn it off every 10thousand.
