    Default RH headlight

Hey i have a question cause i am stumped. I replaced the globes in my headlight and since then it sometimes decided to not turn on, however after i slapped it it would switch on and be fine. However now it won't turn on at all, this includes the parker.

It isn't the globe because when i switch on HB it turns on

    Cheers, Normie

My memory isn't the best but as far I remember the High beam are actually separate bulbs so it could be that the plug in the back of your low beam bulb isn't plugged in properly.

he is correct low beam and high beams are separate bulbs so check them first

Yeah i checked all that and it was fine. The parker doesn't turn on either so i am stumped. And yeah i know the HB is seperate, but when i turned on the high beam the light for low beam switched on also.

Do you think it could be the switch inside?

The fact that it used to work when you slapped it would indicate a bad connection somewhere.

I invariably had my VT tail lights and window brake light come on and off. A little tap here and there usually did the trick, but I can't count how many globes I had to replace in the back half of that car. Number plate lights, boot tail lights, actual tail lights, window brake light. All of the above. Thankfully light globes are cheap Lol.

you will have bad wiring somewhere shorting out the rear end.

I thought it was that, but the quick fix was always the way I went instead of delving deeper into the problem. Time and money were things I didn't have Lol.

    Well i have an update:

I went for a cruise with two of my mates tonight and they told me that my lights kept switching between both on, the left one only and the the right one only. This has made me more stumped than before.

Any idea what it could be now?
