What is this for?

This flywheel been given to me,i was wondering,is this the so called "solid flywheel" which i can replace my dualmass (after shaving it ofcourse)?

Looks to be a solid flywheel. However you must find out what brand it is. I did a conversion on my Vt and found out the hard way that each company has it's own aftermarket solid flywheel kit. So you're going to need to find out what the brand is so you can get the appropriate clutch/pressure plate.

Sorry,should of add,appearently (not sure thou) its out of V8 VX.

If you want to fit it in a v6 its no good. They have an 8 bolt crank, not 6.
