Doing a coolant flush and found the thermostat has been removed.
Haven't had a problem as yet with it out, should it be something to replace asap or put on the general to do list?
Engines perform best from both a wear, power and economic point of view at their normal operating temperature therefore it is in your interest to fit a thermostat ASAP. To delay will cause more engine wear as it takes a longer time to warm up if it even gets to peak temp at all on a cold day.

Ok will do that asap.
Put new coolant in, ran till fans came on at 99 temp drop to 93-94 fans turned off, but the level in the reservoir didn't need topping up...this normal ?
Fan temps sound about right to me. I don't think the LS1 thermostat even opens until about 91 degrees.
