Gday there!
I've got a VTII Berlina with the V6. It's got a 25mm Mace Insulator, 12mm Plenum and Mace Memcal.
When I first installed everything, the car was amazing. Savage like you wouldn't believe. Standstill on demand.
After a few hours, and it has calmed down. Still launches hard, but not as hard. Won't lose traction or standstill now. It's still got more power than before the mods. So I disconnected the battery - and voila - that savage performance is back.
Is there something in the ECU that is readjusting itself and stopping me from launching hard? It seems strange that after I've disconnected the battery she seems to have so much down low, but after it's been driven a few hours, or even left overnight (battery connected) she doesnt seem to have that go from down low.
Help?
Yes the ecu adjusts to any changes you make to the car see if it changes back after a few starts.
Sorry to hi-jack your thread buddy,
Just wondering though would the Memcal have a significantly lower performance gains on a car that has had LPG factory fitted?
There are memcals specifically made for LPG.
hey where do you get these memcells from ????
Here are a couple: vt performance memcal | eBay
Take it easy...But do take it...
Do not argue with an IDIOT.
He will just drag you down to his level an beat you with experience.

If you cared to look into the link that DLFHUB666 posted, it is for a performance chip that suits your needs. Apparently Greenfrog or whatever his name is, is the way to go. You tell him your mods, he sends you out a memcal to suit them, you give him your old memcal so he can keep doing it for others.
Connect the dots: your car is trying to perform like how it should out of the factory, you need a modified memcal to tell it how to perform the way you want it to
