has any one ever replaced z bars on a vt commodore?? how hard is it? can it be done in the garage with the car on stands?
help would be greatly appreciated!!
cheers guys
I did the Z's on my VZ earlier in the year. You shouldn't have too much trouble. Have a good look at the front bush into your K-frame, if it hasn't been changed before there is a good chance it won't be too flash.
There is probably another way to do it, but I undid the nuts from the Z bar then removed the front bush to make it easy to remove the bar.
I aim to misbehave.
why are you changing your z bar bush? if it is for the reason that most people change them, then you will have to give more detail about what you have gone and done so that you can get more better and accurate advice
slapped a gutter slightly and send one of the front wheels back about an inch! so might just do a dodgey fix new z bars and adjustable radius rob bushes so i can bring the caster forward a bit!
