VT alarm

Hey Everypne!
i Recently bought a 99 VT calais and last night about an hour after i got it home the alarm went off.. i thought this was someone trying to break in BUT in the hours since around 10pm it has gone off 5 times!! most rebently at about quarter past 8.
The previous owner never had this problem... so any ideas on what may be going on ??

Next time it goes off, count how many times it flashes, like when you lock it you get 2 flashes I think (something I look at everyday can't remember :S). In your owners manual it will tell you what type of break in has occurred, then you can narrow down the fault. Could be a dodgey door trigger or something. Check the flashes and get back to us, we'll take it from there. As this sort of problem is the most common.

One small thing: Is the alarm aftermarket?
