I have just degreased the engine bay and hosed down now wont start what s the cause of this?
does it make like a 'click click click' noise when you try and start it?
Starin at the world through my rearview
Go on baby scream to God, he can't hear you
I can feel your heart beatin fast cause it's time to die
Gettin high, watchin time fly
nah it turns over just wont fire
You covered the electricals with plastic bags, right?
50LTRv8
um no lol i covered the pod filter didnt even think of the electrics. how do i fix it
lol! poor bloke. wait for it to dry out?
livin' the low life.
More info, by the look of it you have soaked you Distributor, Coil and maybe Ignition control module. Hopefully it all works when it dries out other wise you will be changing the above mentioned items..Coil first, then Ignition Module, then if all else fails Distributor........Sorry,,,,best advice i can do here
buy a can of WD-40 and spray the entire thing over all the electrics, including the dizzy. If the engine was hot when you sprayed it the chances of steam getting into places water usually wouldn't is far greater.
So just wait it out a day or so if your not able to get your hands on some WD-40
Did you "hose it down" with a hose or with a pressure sprayer? The only trouble I've had with washing the engine in my V8 Calais is when I used a pressure sprayer instead of an hose. Killed the coil which needed to be replaced.
