    Default Vt 5L

    I have just degreased the engine bay and hosed down now wont start what s the cause of this?

    does it make like a 'click click click' noise when you try and start it?

    um no lol i covered the pod filter didnt even think of the electrics. how do i fix it

    More info, by the look of it you have soaked you Distributor, Coil and maybe Ignition control module. Hopefully it all works when it dries out other wise you will be changing the above mentioned items..Coil first, then Ignition Module, then if all else fails Distributor........Sorry,,,,best advice i can do here

    buy a can of WD-40 and spray the entire thing over all the electrics, including the dizzy. If the engine was hot when you sprayed it the chances of steam getting into places water usually wouldn't is far greater.

    So just wait it out a day or so if your not able to get your hands on some WD-40

    Did you "hose it down" with a hose or with a pressure sprayer? The only trouble I've had with washing the engine in my V8 Calais is when I used a pressure sprayer instead of an hose. Killed the coil which needed to be replaced.
