Hey.
There is a tow ball bolted onto the car already (VX Lumina), and I've got the metal slat to replace the tow ball etc.
Just wondering if there is a guide or pictures of steps to take the rear bumper panel off?
Thanks.
there are screws behind the rear wheels
when you open the boot there are like black clip screws on the bar you will see.
and where your tail lights are (inside the boot) pull the boot carpet forward and you will see two bolts on each side of the car so 4 all up and just undo them.
thats all the stuff you need to take off to get the rear bar off.
Starin at the world through my rearview
Go on baby scream to God, he can't hear you
I can feel your heart beatin fast cause it's time to die
Gettin high, watchin time fly
Got there, and turns out the idiot who had the car before me pop-riveted where some of the screws should be.
That thing ain't coming off, yet.
drill em out ?

look in the boot, behind the carpet below the tail light, where the bumper mount's you will find 2 bolt's that undo the bracket that is riveted onto the rear bumper.
no need to drill
I also have a VX Lumina and it came with an ugly standard "Tongue" Tow-bar. Driving or standing behind my car you can see how it slightly pushes my rear bumper up in the middle, it looks like rubbish, the VX have the cut-out piece in the middle of the bumper for the Hayman Reece Tow-bar (the square slot type one)
I'm planning to take off the old tow-bar and replace it with the Hayman Reece.
Your posts will be really helpful for me when I get around to doing it.
Thanks
