Bump stop runners rear

Just a quick question. Noticed my left rear bump stop rubber is split and hanging to one side. What effect would that have on my suspension and how urgent would it be to replace?

Wow not one person gave you a simple bit of info...
Well if you have standard springs its not crazily important but it does matter. For the time being cut of the bit thats hanging, but replace the bump stop asap as if you hit a deep enough pot hole itll hit metal to metal instead of rubber to rubber.

Yeah found out I can get it done for like $80.

And I meant to say rubbers in the title... Stupud auto correct.
