    Default Question on VT Spark plugs

    Been given two sets of new VT!! BOSCH Platinum Spark plugs.1 set of six HR9DPY,1 set of six HR7DPX.Whats the diff.?

    one set could be hot burning for LPG conditions, one could be for supercharged, or V8 who knows? maybe best to take them to an autostore and identify them in a product manual

    HR9DPY is the equivalent of the standard NGK BRP6EF-15 (heat range 9 with a 1.5mm gap). HR7DPX is a cooler running plug (heat range 7 with a 1.1mm gap).
