I'm not 100% sure but I think fibreglass bonnets might be illegal, just in case it matters.

Just be safe pal. If it doesnt work out you can always get a monaro styled hood scoop or just buy a genuine one.
Only real worry is if you have a crash
just doing a google search and it seems 92% of people had trouble with defects and insurance . so yeap mind is made up gonna save the cash and just buy a steel 1. only problem now is i need a bonnet before 21st of nov since mine has to be replaced (due to a kangaroo) and thats the only time i can have the car booked in![]()

fibre sports (i believe) are just steel bonnets with the scoop mounted (achieves nothing besides for looks) but they're not a bad mob to deal with.
If we're talking about the guys over at Taren Point.
I have a Savage fibreglass bonnet. The quality is awesome, its a very good product, you can see pix of it in my ride thread. If you want a legal fibreglass bonnet, you can get one from blits.com.au - they make ADR approved fibreglass bonnets.
