Default Stupid question involving VT stockies.

    Hey guys,

As the title says, im a bit embarrassed to ask.

    BUT

I've read on here and heard that Commodore VT Interceptors are always 15".
However, I just went to double check just then because I was looking at some chrome trims and my ruler says its 16"?

I don't know if this is because the hubcap is still on or my ruler is a piece of shit or what, but its really stumped me.

I can upload some pictures if need be, but im still really lost.

The lip of the rim isn't included in the measurement, it is measured from where the tyre actually sits.

Just goes to show that whenever a man uses a ruler, a few inches are always added.

What you can do.. Is check the size on the tyre.. Believe its R##
    ## Being 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20.. etc. and theres you rim size..

Edit: Image is to blurry to make it out :P that second image shows it there I think.. would be something like 205/65 R15

I think what accentstencil is trying to say, see how the lip on each side of the rim is taller than the area between each side?

So the best way to measure the rim is on the back of the rim, put your ruler across and measure the inside diameter of the rim.

Reading the size on the sidewall of the tyre is so much easier Don't need to do anything.. Just use your eyes .. No need for a ruler :P
