    Default VT SS Standard height

Hi this is my first post after months of helpful hints from here decieded to join.

I have searched for a few days know and can't find answer. i want to know the standard height of a vt ss, i know its about 30mm lower then standard commodore. if possible does anyone know what it would be. if i could get a measurement from centre of the wheel to the bottom of the wheel arch. (been lifting 4wd and that how they measure it) I wanna see if there is something different with my car as it sits lower at the front but is all standard fe2 suspension and other ss's i see dont seem to look like this.

    Cheers Noisy

all stock vt commodores sit lower at the front. maybe you have clapped out front springs?!?! An the other car's you see would most likely have lower springs in them as this is one of the 1st things most people change.

ok cool its had all new kings springs in at stock height but shockies were never changed so i wondering if the front shocks are stuff and causing the sag, does seem rough in the front.

springs determine ride height, not shocks/struts. it will be riding harder as kingsprings would have a different spring rate than FE2 springs.

If it is any help I can measure my VX SS, I have had it from new and it is completely original with 70,000km on it, I would imagine it would be the same as the VT in height. Also my VX SS definetely sits a lot lower at the front.

That must be one of the lowest km vx ss's in Aust. I thought mine had low km's, it will click over to 120,000km in the next week or so.
