how hard is it to do
what about cost involved
time frame

having cooling issues at present
only thig left is valley cover replacement

any input is greatly appreciated

Manifold Gaskets - $50 - $70
Coolant - $20 - $40
Oil - $20 - $40
Oil Filter - $10
Time frame about 2 - 4 hours.
Depending on how much experience you have with commodores or cars in general, might be worth while getting a workshop Manual.
