Ecotec head bolt size?

I'm Trying to get the heads of my vt but don't have the right size socket. How big are they? Will hit up the tool shop tomorrow. Cheers

I just changed some head gaskets on a VX V6 and the head bolts were 14mm, use a hexagon socket to avoid rounding the bolts.

Awesome, cheers. Thought it was either 14m or 9/16. Do u think 9/16 would suit as its an American engine? Also, where can I find instructions on how to remove the head? Have exhaust and inlet off, just don't want to unbolt anything I shouldn't. Cheers, thanks for your help.
