cooling issues vt v6

after turning car of i found i could here a bubbling sound from the overflow
is this normal
if not
what are the causes
cheers
got to be a head gasket
get a mechanic to test it
had the system pressurised and found no problems
only does it every now and then
replaced radiator
alll hoses thermostat
new cap
got me stummped
on boost
using coolant or water?
