Hey, i have just completely removed the centre console from the car but i cannot see how in the hell i get the cup holder latch out as i need to replace it? please help!!
Anyone????
If you mean the centre console cup holder in a vt/vx, it just pulls straight up from the top.
Don't be afraid to break it. Give it a good pull from front or back pushing in towards the center. It will pop out no probs.
Check the attachment, printer is low on ink.
It didn't turn out like I'd hoped, you will need to rotate it. (click on the VIEW tab and rotate)

I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
just tried to pull it out from the top but it wont budge, my whole centre console is sitting in my loungeroom at the moment, i managed to get the handbrake button, dash bin and gear shifter button all done but this is wanting to be nice to me.., does not budge when pulling up firmly
Ok another update lol, managed to get a hold of the spring and slip it back into the hole, but what do i do with that grey bit of foam? thanks

I just pulled out my cup holder for the hell of it and it came out super easy, as per instructions but I didn't see the grey foam of which you speak.

On closer inspection I found the foam bit you mentioned. I don't see what it's purpose is but it must be there for a reason. Mine is glued to the spring itself.
