Default Pulled off heads and gaskets dont seem to be blown? Help

Oils been getting into the water and also loosing coolant somewhere (no water in oil though)
Pulled off heads and the gaskets just look eaten away? Is that normal? Also the holes for the water galleries are pretty much blocked with this eaten away gasket. Help!

they looked like brand new. do you reckon it could have been from wrong coolant eating away at gasket?

Whats with the brown stuff? Looks like water has been used instead of coolant and there's been rusting going on. Thats not healthy for any of the parts.

Before you put it back get the head checked to make sure it isn't cracked or warped.

why didnt you just compression test the engine before removing the heads?
now you have the engine in peices you may aswell get another engine, cheaper to fix and your problem is solved

Get The Heads Inspected Mate, if they are ok, then clean the heads and block, then Replace the Head & Inlet Manifold Gaskets. Flush the whole system out. That should solve your problem champ. and replace anything else that looks worn while your there. all well and good just to get another engine but for all you know it could be worse !
