I recently degreased and washed out the engine bay on our 3.8 VX. On starting the car later in the day, the A/C didn't work.
A/C light on the inside button comes on as it should.
Compressor clutch has no voltage to it, even with pressure switch bridged.
A/C radiator fan also isn't going. but does when pressure switch is bridged.
No engine rpm increase. but does when pressure switch is bridged.
I've open and sprayed out as many plugs in the local area as I can find.
Standard wiggling of plugs and looms while the engines running has no effect.
I assumed it was a gassing issue. After system was gassed, the fault remained.
I'm out of idea's. It seems that there should be a blown fuse somewhere?
ive got this same problem in my 99 v.t, the car was at airport parking in brizzie for 3 weeks. same issues, light comes on... no rpm increase... if you find an answer let me know. msg me thanks mate. its summer and i need this fixed,

I would be checking the relays next, perhaps swap it over, they are clearly labelled. hope this helps
Thanks for the replies, have swapped around the horn and A/C relays with no change. A/c relay works fine in horn slot.
