We just had the VX waggon converted to LPG (second hand system) and now it idles at about 1250 rpm sometimes, and 750rpm other times (no rhyme or reason apparently).
Also, sometimes it stalls when going down a long hill with no accelerator.
The installer told me the O2 sensors are on its way out, and that their life is generally around 80,000 kms only.
Yet I have seen on this forum that some cars go to around 250,000 - 300,000 kms without needing the O2 sensors to be changed.
Is the installer right? Or could there be some other problem?
Cheers,
JG

I know I need two sensors, but do I need the two wirte or four wire sensors?
From what I can see, there are two wires coming out of the sensor, but I have not been able to look at the plug end.
It is a 2002 VX Series II V6 -not sure of the exact month or engine type.
Cheers,
