Gday guys. I just went and got a new set of rims from the spastics at ozzy tyres.
All the did was change my wheels.
But literally the second it came out of the work shop, it had this weird creaking sound coming from the front left strut top... The right one doesn't make a noise at all... I called up and asked him why it started making that noise and he started telling me that it's common in commodores but the thing is that the noise wasn't there went i gave it to them... I pride my car on being 100% rattle free and this noise is ruining my life!
any ideas? i just lowered the car and am not keen on taking the struts out again. Everything looks normal from the engine bay!?

did you change your struts when lowering your car and with new mounts etc?
and did you upgrade wheel size?
Starin at the world through my rearview
Go on baby scream to God, he can't hear you
I can feel your heart beatin fast cause it's time to die
Gettin high, watchin time fly
Went from 16s to 18s kept original fe2s but never had a problem until the new wheels were on... Any ideas?

I'd be surprised if it was anything the workshop did. Perhaps having the suspension at full droop while the car was jacked changing wheels just unsettled something a little.
But if the noise remains, new strut tops would be your only choice I'd think.
Yeah that's could b right thx goose
