hi all

ive got a VU v6 and long story short, i was drivin along the M1 sittin on about 100-105kms/hr and out of the blue, motor cuts out for all of 1 - 2 seconds then cuts back in. no engine light came on, head lights or any other electrics didnt dim or change. i got about another 5kms down the road and again, same thing. at times it will happen that quick the tacho doesnt have time to drop below 1500 before it kicks back in.

this has started on friday the 18th, and as i have read on other posts about weather playing a part, this has now happened in coldish weather at night to a 35degree day.

ive replaced the crank angle sensor about 4 months ago, plugs and leads 20,000kms old, i've had it into three different shops and only once it loged a crank angle sensor code. we cleared it, drove it for an hour and plugged back in and sure enough nothing logged. each time after that it hasnt loged a code. ive put it down to somwhere from dfi-coil pack through to crank and cam sensors. It just has me stuffed as to why it wont log a code if it was one of these components, makes me thing that theres a possable rub through on the harness to these sensors

has anyone had this problem and or does anyone have any educated guesses as to whats the cause?
