My VX Calais Thread (progression thread)

So I've decided to make a progression thread for my Calais. About the car I purchased the car of my mum for a good price, it requires a lot of work but I'm sure I'll get there eventually. I need to have a few bumps and dents taken out and I would really like the colour brought back, but I'm not sure how much that'll cost and It'll be a while before I can pay for that.

What I've done

I've got some Altezza lights installed Brought them off a boost member for $120 and they work perfectly

Shanks Yeah just the standard lowering and wheels, concidering getting a bobtail, and fixing alot of the paint up.

Okay so I need some help with lowering and selecting a good set of wheels I'm liking the idea of 20's, and i've liked a few different set's, but I really like some of the original HSV 19's and 18's but I'm just concerned about how it's going to look once it's dropped.

2 questions

Question 1, should I go with Super low's on the front and back with KYB Shocks and a Camber kit? Or supers on the front and ultra's on the back? I was also advised that the front shocks dont need to be changed and the stock one's will suffice. The car's done 184,000k's so idk. If someone here could help me with that

Question 2, does anyone have any suggestions to wheels? Pictures of their own VX's or VT's lowered with 18's 19's or 20's just go get a rough idea. I've been looking for 20x8.5 with 235/35/20 tyres on them, but the price is through the roof! Throw some suggestions at us Thanks.

Concidering it 18's 19's or 20's. Still debating what would look best on the car, I'm leaning towards 18's and 19's though, just with what will look best with the car I guess. I made a thread in show off your ride (never saw that section :$)
