Hey guys,
This may seem like a stupid question, but I'm looking at getting a VX SS commodore to replace my 04 Alfa Romeo 156 and I've noticed there are a few 200k plus VX SS's for under 10 grand. Would this be a wise investment?
The reason I'm looking at getting rid of my Alfa is to 1. have a faster car and 2. to have a more reliable car.
Will a VX SS with over 200k on the clock still be reliable, assuming it's been looked after? For some reason I have it in my head that a VX with over 200ks is going to be more relibale than a VL with the same ks. I figured this would be the best place to ask.
Cheers
Providing its been looked after with regular log book services, then I can't see why not. Best to get it looked over by a mechanic first to make sure things like bushes etc are still in ok condition.
If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!
I used to have a Alfa GTV year 2000 such a good drivers car. I wish I still had it. I'd own it over a commodore any day
LS1 commodes are fine over 200k
they have annoying niggles but are usually simple to sort
Although I have NOT been watching the used car adverts, I would have thought there would be a lot more than just a few VX commys under $10K, particularly the over 200K ones.
