Interior Light

Hi guys,new to this stuff but getting sick and tired of xsperts not knowing their stuff so thought I would ask those that should know U.My problem is the interior light in my WH Stato keeps blowing the fuse without taking it to a holden dealer workshop was wondering if any of U had come across this problem.Was told it was probable the BCM but not sure if this is true.Thanks for your time.Deano.

Check the globe sockets for corrosion, failing that check that the wires arent damaged and earthing to the body of the car.

when the fuse blows does it look like a sudden blow or slow melting?
is it fuse 6 that is blowing? or fuse 4
can't see how it could be BCM as BCM supplies negative after globes, if BCM failed lights would either be on or off but would not blow fuse
sorry but i have to ask, have you modified the car in a way that would affect electrics
how often does the fuse blow? immediately you replace it, or once a week
If it is immediately only check one area at a time then rplace fuse, so when you disturb that area you will know where to concentrate your search
check carefully the wiring to the doors, it has most likely rubbed through somewhere
do not be tempted to fit a bigger fuse as you will just burn your car
