Light bulb
Hi Guys,
I am new to the forum and this is my first post. I recently bought a VU ute. I was wondering if any one new how to change the light bulb that lights the automatic trans numbers under the lever. I have taken the large housing off and that leaves the smaller one with the numders on it and i cant see how to remove it.
How hard can it be?
Hey mate, you actually don't need to remove the lever and numbers bit.
You've taken off the large housing, if you put your hand underneath the smaller plastic with the selector on it, at the bottom you can feel a small plastic bulb holder, twist counter clockwise and then pull toward you. You can then replace the bulb, to put it back in follow the inverse of the above steps.
