i have a vt v6 1998 auto calais, (diff is howeling)
my mate gave me another diff and CV`s , but not sure if it will bolt up ok or not on its tage it has (LSD HIGH PERFORMANCE) just need to know if it will bolt up and work on in the v6 calais
Real cars don't power the front wheels, they lift them
Yeh will go in no worries.
As far as im aware vt-vx-vy are all the same. I have a full VY rear end in mine, But i kept my LSD off the VX non ajustable cradle and it bolted up to the VY rear cradle no worries.
"As far as i have found if it has HIGH PREFORMANCE on the tag it means it is a LSD as i guess you already know.

Depends on what car the new diff came out of. If it came out of a VT it will go straight in. If it came out of a VX or a VY you will need to change your tail shaft over with a VX or VY one as the bolt patterns are different. Also make sure the tail shaft you get comes from a sedan as wagon, ute and statesman tail shafts are longer.
