Default Is it possible to bypass the heater core for a temporary fix?

Heater core is leaking now and i just dont have the time to replace it as im meant to be going away. Can i just use a bit of hose on the heater tap to bypass it?

    Cheers

    The core is leaking...

Just use a piece of tube and 2 hose clamps from the inlet and outlet to the core before the tap.

You can check my thread about this. If your core has been leaking and you want a bypass hose that cancels out the heater tap and the heater core, make sure you bleed the system as there's bound to be airpockets from all the leaky coolant. I havent came around to deleting the heater core from the car, as I have seen its takes a whole day to remove it with the proper tools (and experience)
