    Default VT stalling issues

Hey guys my old mans VT ecotec has encountered a problem for a while now, idle feels rough and used to shake alot on idle. So I replaced the plugs and the shaking stopped.

Next I found that the maf pipe had a split in that and IAC was cracked from the inside. So I replaced them which was all good.

But now for some reason when I rev hard or rev a little and then let go the car feels like its going to stall, then the rpms drop and go up and down constantly before it finds the right rpm.

I'm thinking it could be fuel related but not sure, I will replace the fuel filter but if anyone has any ideas would be great.

    Cheers

Inlet manifold gasket maybe, my mates used to do that, coz they perish and then the water mixes from coolant gallery mixes in with the fuel and lets air in etc, pretty common thing to go wrong with ecotecs the inlet manifold gasket

I had the same problem, car running rough as guts, change the plugs and was good for a while then started missing again. Ended up being a vacuum leak in the pipe from the EGR to throttle body. Put a new pipe in and all fixed.
