key fob losing coding

can anyone tell me if the key remote can lose the coding or part of it so that it does not fully turn off immobilizer but, disarms the alarm system and opens the doors

most likely key reader is failing, or that part of your remote that connects to key reader

Or the battery in the key is failing,, once the battery starts going flat thats it, car wont start at all or will struggle to start..

check the wires behind the reader, they come loose after a while
