Some lovely person has reversed into our VX Acclaim sedan and has damaged the front bumper so what I need to know is the work involved to remove the bumper.
I'd like to remove it to repair the hole and then have the entire bumper painted again.

if it's like the vt there are 3 screws on top and a couple in front of the wheels. From memory it just pulls off after that....
just a little trick as well, when you are undoing the screws in front of your front wheels start the car and turn the wheel inwards, and the screws will be easy to get out.
edit: there is also one screw on the bottom of the bumper, infront of the front wheels. hope that makes sense.
Starin at the world through my rearview
Go on baby scream to God, he can't hear you
I can feel your heart beatin fast cause it's time to die
Gettin high, watchin time fly
and one other thing, which got me. when your on side of car doing screws inside guard, pull the bumper out towards you as it hooks in after screws are out, its literally a 2min job to get it off, its 7 screws in total, well was on mine anyways
ive also heard there can be screws behnd the number plate so check that, i havnt had it myself but its been mentioned
yeah ive had plenty of randoms tell me there is screws behind the bumper, and not one bumper i have takin off has even had screw holes, for these so called screws
Thanks guys, its off and the hole is repaired which just leaves the spray painter to bring it back to life.
