    Default Replacing clock spring

    Hey Guys,

    Just wondering how many people on here have replaced a Clock Spring in a VT Commodore for the Airbag system?
    Any tips or hints would be great as I need to replace one tomorrow.

    remove and replace mate, need a scan tool tho to clear the codes.

    Cheers buddy, yeah did some reading around and found out that a Tech 2 Scan tool is needed.
    If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!

    Disconnect the battery before starting and make sure the new clock spring is centred (the instructions are on the clock spring) and the wheels a facing straight ahead.
