starting problems

Hi all got a wee bit of a problem starting my vt sometimes usually if it sits for 20 or more minutes it starts begrudgingly if it cranks like a flat battery but i've tried different batteries i tried replacing the brushes in my alternator seems to be the same sort of getting a bit frustrated if i only drive a short distance it starts ok and if i stop to say get fuel then try to start it straight away cranks slow like flat battery then nothing does anyone have any suggestions

Could be worn out starter motor.

I agree sounds like the starter motor might be the problem.

x3 starter motor. i had the same problem, just dont leave it as long as i did, ended up melting the terminals, mechanic needed to grind bolts of.... not good.
