Cost of tubbing a vx?

Does anyone have an idea of how much it would cost to tub an 01 vx exec?

More than your car is worth, around $4000 give or take. Why do you want to tub a VX Exec?

if your going to spend the money on mini tubs, to do the job properly you should remodify your control arms, relocate the shocker, relocate the springs, cut and shorthen axles, and then your stuck with a custom made rear rim, as you cant purchase any rim of the shelf to suit the back space you require..........so there is no physical gain for the cost, u might aswell build a dedicated drag car with a 4-link. Ive already looked into doing a mini tub (as i do mini tubs at the workshop) so its cheaper for me. After adding all this up, its still not worth the dollars and time to gain anything.

To do what ive done to my ute, i would suggest pumping the rear guards out, i had to run a 28x10.5" wide tyre on the rear of mine, due to wheel spinning at 140+mph isnt safe. the extra 1.5" of tyre, was enough to stop that.

how handy r u with a welder? you can buy pre rolled tubs from companies like taverana bros and trick and mansweato racing (not sure on the cost) and do the job ur self? ive helped doing it on a few burnout cars.
