Default process of elimination - plug leads order

so still in the process of elimination. i'm pretty sure the leads are on in the right order from the coils, but it wouldnt hurt to check again i guess. disregarding the numbers on the coil packs, starting on the pack closest to the drivers side, where does each pack outlet go to? so just for now, can we call the left most top outlet one, the bottom outlet two and so forth, and where it connects to like drivers side front/mid/rear plug.

it would read like this, coil pack outlet 1 to drivers side mid etc

i know i'm being a pain in the arse but this damn car is doing my head in, just want to be sure.

on a side note, tried starting it again today, still the same problems. ripped the plugs out, and the plug on the passenger side rear was wet from unburnt fuel. any ideas? and the egr valve, the earth on the loom that bolts to the back of the head, when i got the heads back, they were painted, should i sand that part off back to metal, or wouldnt it even make a difference?

thanks so much for all your in input guys, really. im out of options, so ur advice is invaluable
