    Default vt handbrake light on dash

    the hand brake is down but the light is coming up on my dash and beeping every couple of minutes,
    is there a fuse or something that may need changing for this to stop??
    please help..............................

    Check at the base of the handbrake that the switch that is pushed down (and thus turns the light off) is being hit by the handbrake lever.

    May just require the handbrake to be tweaked in the direction of the switch to ensure it touches it.

    That light is not just for the handbrake. Check your brake fluid level. This same issue had me stumped for ages lol
    VX2 Executive Sedan - 3.8L Auto (for now)

    Possibly something like a coin is stuck between the switch and handbrake.

    check your brake fluid... could be either too low or you could have air in the cylinder.. does your brake pedal feel soft at all?
