Update - car runs but rough/using fuel

So I replaced a coil pack as spark wasn't jumping from one of the points, car runs now but still really rough idle, and up to 3000. Seems to hesitate at 2000 while driving. Has minimal power, an is using heaps of fuel. Like half a tank to work and home, 20 minute drive each way. Also, when u get it up to speed and take ur foot of the accelerator, it doesn't slow down or drop revs. Put premium fuel on tonight, started the car and revved to 3000 for about 15 seconds before coming back down. Any ideas?

did you change just one coil pack or the whole set? if you changed just one, its highly likely that the two remaining coil packs are already on their way out. Replace the other two and see if it makes a difference. If the car idles rough, clean out the throttle body, IAC valve and have a look at your air filter.

Air filter is new, will clean iac and tps now. Gonna check injector pulses as well. Dfi is brand new. Coils are less than a year old, the one I replaces didn't have spark when the plug leads were at the terminal. Still persisted although ran better. Swapped new coil to a different spot, same problem.
