VT cluster question

hey guys looking at upgrading a to level 3 window cluster blah blah blah.

does the backgrounds of both mine and the cluster im buying have to be white for the KM's to be adjusted by a tech2 tool? because mine is white just the cluster im looking at has the black background.

because the level 3 cluster has more kays.

Yes the back of the cluster. there is 3 colours: white, black and dark grey blue.

The dark grey blue colour I've only seen 2 of them. Most VT/VX cluster are black tho.

I have a VT cluster with a White back and PRND321 sitting at home. People told me i wouldnt be able to change the kms so i havent put it in yet.

if both clusters are white backed you should be fine.

The cluster to be fitted needs to be a white backed unit to be changed. A black cluster is not changable as far a s I know (been told by people that change the clusters)

I dont thnk you can get a black backed cluster changed.

ah dam it, finding a level 3 cluster with a white back is going to be a dam mission

u can always add on the KMs with the black back clusters so u just gotta find 1 with lower KMs then.

WPN_42L ur cluster can b used and changed at any stage.
