Got a puzzling issue with my VT I was hoping someone might have an answer to. The front left tyre always seems to go flat at random times and it's not a puncture though it just deflates. Sometimes it will go flat after a couple of days, and other times it will last a few weeks. It's always the front left only, never any other tyre. I've rotated it with the other three, plus the spare, and even replaced it with a brand new wheel and the same thing always happens.
Anyone come across this issue before or know where I can start looking?
I would start looking at the neighbours! I would of thought the valve stem thing but if you have replaced the tyres and rotated etc then that is ruled out.
Sounds like someone is playing games to me.
Take it easy...But do take it...
Do not argue with an IDIOT.
He will just drag you down to his level an beat you with experience.
Some people take me the wrong way, Like smacking up Marijunna.
my vc did this..
i'v take it to a tyre joint they said its the paint on the rims peeling so the tyre comes away from the rim lip of the rim.
also they can put special glue sh!t on the inside of your rim to test it shouldn't cost to much so take it there and ask them to do that
way to fix it
1 sand rim
2 resray rim
worked for me![]()

If Cars could scream Rape, I'm sure yours just did because I just eye fuc&ed the shit out of the above images.
Love reading these posts!...LOL!
I once saw a home video where the family cocky would unscrew the valve cap and press the valve tip to get the rush of air in it's face,........... how we laughed!
But seriously, if the wheel on the same corner loses pressure, irrespective of which wheel is fitted, some one could be playing tricks.
Try reversing the car into its normal park position, perhaps the rear right may start to deflate.
Yeah it's definitely not someone letting air out of it, as the car is locked in a garage at night and I operate a small business from home so I'm never parked in a specific place during the day for someone to keep letting air out. It's definitely something to do with the car it'self
I had a similar issue with my front right some time ago but given you have rotated your tyres and still have the issue, I'm not sure this is the cure, but worth noting here anyway I guess.
Every few days the tyre would deflat. No nail, valve stem was secure etc. Long story short, in thinking about what it could be I remembered I had put new ally valve caps on about the time the tyre started going down.
So I pumped up the tyre and left the cap off. That was the problem. The valve tip was ever so slightly pressing against the top of the after market valve cap and slowly releasing the air.
Solution: Pulled the rubber o ring from an old value cap, seated in in place on top of the existing o ring that wasn't providing enough clearance and no more flat tyre.
Good luck ascertaining the problem.
Front wheel drive cars are the work of the Devil.
I had one tyre going down regularly, no punctures. Put a tiny bit of detergent with some water in a spray bottle and spray around the bead, one side and then the other. Where there are leaks, you will see bubbles. In my case, the bead wasnt sealing properly, and it was clearly the entire bead leaking, bubbles everywhere. All I did was stick 60lbs of air in it, then let it down to normal pressure, fixed the problem.
You've said you have even rotated the tyres though. If you did that, and its still only the left front thats going down, its not the wheels. Someone is pulling your chain.
I don't see how this is at all possible without human intervention. I can only be a leaking tyre, rim or valve and rotating the tyres rules this out. Perhaps it's a ghost.
MY RIDE
I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
You arent banging the kerb when pulling up, and unseating the bead a little?
the only possible thing i can think of, is that you took rotating the wheels to literally and simply jacked the car up took off the hand brake and spun the wheels.... in which case, the one on the front left is stuffed.
if you took a leaking tyre and moved it to the back and it stopped leaking, and the new front tyre started leaking when it wasnt previously.... well then it's being fiddled with my friend. No 2 ways about it. set up a night vision camera and watch you wheel each night.
Well there could be something (possibly a little sharp) that punctures your tyre & it could be embedded on the left hand side of the garage concrete (or close by) & the only reason your left hand FRONT tyre is getting flat is because the left hand REAR tyre never goes past the object the could be possibly flattening the tyre.
If you were to reverse your car in & jag that little bugger i am sure that your right hand REAR tyre would be going flat. check your garage floor mate & make sure nothing is poking out.
Far fetched yes, but it may just coincide with what is going on.
