SS wont start?

went to take the ss (99 vt) for a spin to realise that she wouldnt start!!!
we last drove here on saturday night.
she clicks when you turn the key but thats about it.
im wondering what the issue could be?

any possible answers would be tops!

P.S. havent tried jumpstarting her as the missus is at a xmas do

A click usually indicates low charge in the battery. Could also be dirty or looses battery clamps, a bad earth, loose connections at the starter motor or a stuffed starter motor. I'd start by checking the battery.

you answered yourself on that one, better to check these simple things before asking the masses here, saves the embarrasment when it turns out to be something simple like a flat battery
