Hi guys
i have a L67, fair amount of work including,15psi boost ,intercooleer,high ratio rockers, 3.4:6 ratio lsd, custom tune,ss inductions CIA, ...went to the track on wednesday night, going down the drag strip car wouldnt change to 4th just rev'd the out 3rd gear until i backed off... however on the way home, no problem...wondering if the amount of load caused by stickyness of the track made it happen... if anyone knows why this happens or how to stop if from happening in thee future please let me know as, i wanna get some good quater mile times and backing off half track isnt gonna help
Also had performance trans guy take it for a drive yesterday and no problem... im sort of thinking maybe its an electrical problem seeing its intermitent... any help would be much appreciated
Just curious, have you done any work to the transmission at all? If not, why not? If you intend to thrash an auto it's going to die very quickly.

ye i have, sorry didnt mention it...rebuilt 23,000 kms ago, brand new upgraded internals,stuff like thicker band
I'm told for at least the earlier autos, they just won't change into 4th at WOT by design. I don't know if that's still applicable to a VX.
look at the tps give it a clean as this will do what your saying. had a few ppl with same issues.
