    Default Steering rack (pics included)

hey guys i got a new steering rack put in my car about 2 months ago and lately the drive has been very very uncomfortable. the part should still be under warranty but the shit part is my mechanic is now shut until wednesday the 28th. does this sound like a faulty rack? and with the wheel forward im thing along the lines of my z bar.

    problems incluced:

    - front left wheel makes clunks and is very noisy
    - front left wheel sits further forward than the drivers front, left wheel i can fir about 2 fingers in and drivers side about 4.
    - my steering rack boots are all screwed up.

rack boots just need for the clips to be released and the boots will twist around the rack ends and return to their normal shape as long as nothing has ripped(he should have done this during the wheel alignment) but that edge of the tyre wearing is a drama...looks like the camber is out and with the clunking maybe the camber adjustment bolt/s on lefthand strut near the wheel are not tight.

To undo the clip just twist it where the thick part is, have a real close look at it and it should be clear. You have like a jaw with the centre part that clicks in, twist it so the centre bit comes out the side. It should be obvious how you re- tighten it.
By the way, it can't see the pics in the first post either, it says "the image or video has been moved or deleted"
