So i have been having a issue with my VX for a while now, not sure what it is, but just seems to be getting worse just recently, my car just would not start, same days it will start then some other days, it just won't start, it will try start, but it will stall a second just before it starts, but the days when it start if i move my car then turn it off come back 5 minutes later it just won't turn over, if you have any ideas please let me know.
If you have power to everything and it struggles to turn over it may be your starter motor, i have a similar issue but not as bad. I really need to do something about it.

Well it isn't that it struggles to start, it is more it starts then stops or just wont turn over
Does it turn over ok?
It will either be fuel or spark...
It may be crank sensor, They can work sometime's then just fail only to work 5 min's later.
It may be you're fuel pump on it's way out, They sometime's work then not other's, Then eventualy never work.
How long has this been going on?
When the car is trying to start, You should be able to get an idea as to what may be happning, Like, If it's fuel pump you should be able to tell as it will be almost starting but just wont, As apposed to no spark, well it just wont come close to starting.
Next time it wont start, turn the ignition on and have a listen out and see if you can hear the fuel pump priming or not.
And if not..
Get a rubber mallet and give the underside of the fuel tank a couple of tap's wile a mate is in the car turning it over, If it then start's, Its more than likley fuel pump.
By what you have explained, Sounds fuel related as you say it is trying to start.
Hey Slushy just wondering if you fixed the starting problem in the VX. Sounds exactly the same drama as my VX is having .Any info would be helpful
Give the starter motor a good but not too good tap with a hammer or check the crank angle sensor. How many kms has the car done?
