When you turn it to START does it spring back to ON when you let the key go? Or does it stay in the START position?

If it stays on START then you will need to change over the inner most part of your steering column. Your ignition barrel will still be OK so swap it into the new column so your keys still match.

Sorry, I have to disagree. The part that makes it spring back is the ignition switch. It happened to me once, key would not spring back so I changed the switch and that fixed it.
