Procedure to open jammed door lock actuator

I finally opened my jammed rear driver door. Jammed means actuator is stuck and removing the battery will not open it either. Fist thing to do is to open all door locks by the remote. This will make the stuck actuator in open mode. Then pull up on the lock of the actuator by force and drag it up and quickly open the door. The lock knob might break, if so then pull the rod up by a plier. Once door is open Remove the panel. I tried to remove the acuator but i could not so I opened the three screws holding the actuator and used a soldering iron to melt the actuator holding the lock mechanism. Then I put everything together and now the lock works except its manual. Better than having a jammed door! I will use it untill I replace the whole assembly.
